The most abundant element on the planet is water, it presents itself in different forms. In the North there are ice beds that gather water together, flowing rivers, seas, and oceans. There are numerous seas on the planet, but none holds much fact as the Dead Sea. Its popularity increased because of the name given to it, ‘dead’, meaning no life. There are no living organisms within it, from the smallest plants to animals. The Dead Sea has a huge proportion of salt within its contents, making it the saltiest sea there is on earth, with a rather subtle location on the map.
This sea is located in an area with intense temperature, much water is removed from it leaving behind the salt component. The salty nature cannot be compared with any other, with more than 5 times that of others. The Dead Sea is believed to be miraculous because of its content, in addition to its salty nature, there are several minerals contained inside. When applied on boils and infected skin, it’s believed to produce healing benefits. Different iconic features in history were recorded to utilize the skin care benefits of the Dead Sea to their advantage, notably Cleopatra.
The Dead Sea has a high density that allows objects to float, its composition makes it appear nearly thick and leathery for things to float to add to its mysteries, it’s recorded to be the lowest point on earth, levels of this water body are much below that of sea level. It’s not only, but the surrounding roads, too, are arguably the lowest on earth. Imagine walking at a level below that of a sea, must be cool. It’s low to an extent that even harmful rays of light from the sun are not known to reach such levels. This means you can bathe here, or hang around without getting sunburned.
Part of the construction plans for the dead centuries ago were placed on the Dead Sea. Some mineral compounds and materials are normally broken down from the inside out. They are used to supporting the construction of sacred places and tombs for dead people in Egypt. The Dead Sea is a natural wonder, with an abundance of minerals, salts and depth, and it’s considered a top location for tourism today. The inherent ability to evoke healing, protect yourself from sunlight, and perfect beauty products is wonderful. Due to man-made depletion, efforts are currently being made to ensure its maintenance, and to ensure it thrives for much longer.
